Pic-Off is a pass-and-play voice trivia game. Two players share one phone with a chess clock running: a picture appears, you say the answer out loud, and a correct answer passes the clock to your opponent. This page explains what the app does with data, what stays on your phone, and the one situation in which audio can leave your device.
Pic-Off has no account system. There is nothing to sign up for, nothing to log in to, and no profile of any kind.
We do not ask for, and the app does not gather, any of the following: your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, files, or location.
Am3r Group runs no backend for Pic-Off. There is no server of ours that the app talks to. Because no data reaches us, we hold nothing about any player, and there is no database of ours from which anything could be retrieved, exported or deleted.
The app also contains no analytics SDK and no crash-reporting SDK. We receive no usage statistics, no event logs and no crash reports.
The app keeps a small amount of state in its own private app storage so the game works properly across sessions. This data never leaves your device and is not readable by us.
| What is stored | Why |
|---|---|
| Which pictures have already been shown | So a category deals every image once before repeating any of them |
| Which categories you have unlocked | So unlocks are permanent and survive closing the app |
| Whether the full unlock was purchased | So ads stay off once you have paid |
| Whether the first-run screen has been completed | So you are not shown the introduction again |
That is the complete list. Deleting the app, or clearing its data from your device settings, erases all of it permanently. Because no copy exists anywhere else, that action is also how a deletion request is satisfied in full.
Answers in Pic-Off are spoken, so the app listens through the microphone during a turn.
The app itself does not record, store or upload audio. It uses the speech recognizer built into your device and receives only the recognised text back. That text is held in memory just long enough to score the turn, and is then discarded. Nothing is written to storage and nothing is sent to Am3r Group.
Pic-Off does not force on-device-only recognition. Many phones do not have the offline language pack installed, and requiring offline recognition would mean those users are repeatedly prompted to download one before they can play.
Because of that, depending on your device and its settings, the operating system’s speech service (Google on Android, or Apple on a future iOS release) may transmit the recorded audio to its own servers in order to convert it to text. Whether this happens is determined by your device, your platform and your system settings, not by Pic-Off.
When it happens, that processing is governed by the platform’s own privacy policy, not ours:
You can revoke microphone permission at any time in your device settings. The game remains playable without it: an on-screen Skip button advances the turn in place of a spoken answer.
The free version of Pic-Off shows ads supplied by Google AdMob: banners, medium rectangles, and optional rewarded videos.
Rewarded videos are never forced. Nothing in the game unlocks from an ad unless you deliberately choose to start one.
To serve ads, Google may process device identifiers (including the advertising ID), your IP address, and coarse usage signals. This processing is governed by Google’s policies, not ours:
Consent in the EEA, the UK and other regulated regions. Google’s User Messaging Platform consent form is shown before the ads SDK initialises and before any ad is requested, and your choice is respected. Declining personalised ads means you see non-personalised ads. It does not cost you the game or any part of it.
On iOS. Pic-Off is currently an Android app. If an iOS version is released, App Tracking Transparency will be requested before the advertising identifier is used for personalised ads.
Resetting your advertising ID. The advertising ID can be reset or deleted at any time in your device settings.
Content rating. Ad requests are sent capped at a PG content rating. This is a filter that we ask Google to apply. It is not a guarantee, because Google selects and serves the ads, not us.
Removing ads. Buying the full unlock removes ads from the app entirely. With the unlock active the ads SDK is never initialised, so no ad request and no measurement request is made. The advertising-ID permission stays declared for the whole app, because Android permissions cannot be made conditional on a purchase, but with the SDK uninitialised the app does not request the identifier.
Pic-Off has one optional purchase: a one-time full unlock of US$7.99 that opens all 175 categories and removes ads. It is not a subscription, and the store prices it locally, so the amount shown in your region may differ.
The purchase is processed by the Google Play Store (or, on a future iOS release, the Apple App Store). Payment is handled entirely by the store. We never see your card details, your billing address, or any other payment information.
The app learns only whether the purchase succeeded, and records that result locally on your device so ads stay off.
Every picture in Pic-Off is bundled inside the app. The game is fully offline: playing fetches nothing and reports nothing.
Image attributions are listed inside the app under Image credits.
Pic-Off is family-friendly and requests a PG ad content rating, but it is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Since the app collects no personal information from anyone, there is nothing for us to delete on request. Clearing the app’s data or uninstalling it removes everything stored locally.
We support the rights available under the EU GDPR, the UK GDPR, and the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA.
In practice those rights are satisfied directly on your device. Because no personal data about you exists outside your phone, and none of it ever reaches us, requests for access, correction, export or deletion are fulfilled by clearing the app’s data or uninstalling the app. There is no account to close and no server-side copy to request.
We do not sell or share personal information, and we never have.

We retain nothing, because we receive nothing.
Data stored locally on your device is kept until you clear the app’s data or uninstall the app, at which point it is gone.
If this policy changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Material changes will also be noted in the store listing’s release notes.
